The Samoyed Club Of Victoria Inc was formed in 1944 with the aim of fostering and promoting the Samoyed Breed through public exhibition and education.  It is affiliated with the Victorian Canine Association Inc.

News Letter

The Club Newsletter "Snow Courier" is published four times a year for the months of January, April, August & October, containing news and views relating to all aspects of the breed.

APPLICATION FORM FOR A GRAND OR SUPREME CHAMPION

All owner/s of the Samoyed applying for a "Grand or Supreme Champion" recognition award must be financial member/s of The Samoyed Club Of Victoria Inc and only those points gained after the owner has become a member of the Samoyed Club of Victoria will count on submission of this application.

Meetings

The Annual General Meeting and election of office bearers is held on the fourth (4th) Thursday of July.

Meeting notices are published in the Snow Courier.

Puppy days and members competitions

Instructional and enjoyable days are held for owners of pet, show and obedience Samoyeds, including grooming and ring craft demonstrations.

Annual Championship Show and Parade

The Club holds an annual Parade and a Championship Show every year.  Details for these are published in Upcomng Events.


Club library

An extensive library of material relating to all aspects of dog husbandry and other canine matters is available to club members at club meetings or by contacting the Librarian, Lorraine Addison, (03) 9723 2766 or e-mail  polastar21@bigpond.com

Sled Team

The Club participates in social and charity functions at Christmas and throughout the year.  Members with or without their dogs, are welcome to take part in these activities which always provide an outstanding attraction.
